Jerry Z. Muller is Professor of History at The Catholic University of America, where he has taught since 1984. He is the author of the essay collection Capitalism and the Jews (2010). Prof. Muller also wrote The Mind and the Market: Capitalism in Modern European Thought (2002), which was cowinner of The Historical Society's Donald Kagan Best Book in European History Prize His many articles and essays have appeared in scholarly journals as well as in Foreign Affairs, The New Republic, The Times Literary Supplement, The Wall Street Journal, and The Wilson Quarterly.
